My first animation

Here is my first attempt at animation. I have to admit, I'm not an animator, I've never really tried to animate anything and even last year when we were learning flash I got away with just flashing some drawings on the screen and sliding pictures of lightning across the screen.

anyone who knows anything about after effects (CS3 or any) and has some tips, feel free to toss them my way. Anything at all.

You animate that in After Effects? I know quite a bit about After Effects

I did the dA film video in my gallery with it.
